Basic Homemade Explosives (HME) - Identification and Capabilities
This 8-hour course is designed to provide the knowledge necessary to effectively identify and safely respond to situations involving improvised explosives. Students will receive information pertaining to various elements of HME to include components, precursors, and improvised initiators which will result in an increased awareness and ability to recognize various components as potential hazards.
This course consists of both lecture and hands-on training as well as explosives demonstrations. Participants are required to bring eye and ear protection.
