Precision Rifle 2

This course builds on the skills learned in Precision Rifle 1 and focuses on advanced ballistics and an understanding of all variables relevant to precision shooting. Students will leave the course with a better understanding of all the factors that go into calculating and successfully making precision, long distance shots. In addition, students will be introduced to alternate shooting positions and rapid target engagement. Shooters should expect to shoot between 75 and 100 rounds of match grade ammunition.

  • Calculating true velocity and ballistic coefficient
  • Wind reading
  • Supported and unsupported shooting positions
  • Rapid target engagement
