Our Senior Operational Staff Members Serve with Company Directors as Primary Instructors for all Training Courses or as Project Managers and Operational Staff on Private Security or Research and Development Projects. This remarkable group has collectively performed over 500 combat deployments. Among the ranks are Graduates of the US Naval Academy, Top 10 Law and Business Schools, and top ranked Medical Schools. In addition to these highly experienced individuals, Asymmetric Solutions employs an endless list of thoroughly vetted, part-time contractors that are combat decorated veterans of US and Coalition Special Operations Units or full time SWAT or PSD Teams.
Ben is a former member of a U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Team and Federal Agency Security Team tasked with protecting human intelligence assets around the globe. Prior to that he served in the US Army. Ben is the veteran of 12 deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq during the Global War on Terror and has also worked as an instructor for various Federal Agencies and Law Enforcement groups.
Erik is a former operator with 7th Special Forces Group and a Federal Agency. He has 22 years of special operations and counter terrorism experience and is the veteran of multiple deployments to South and Latin America in support of U.S. Counter Narcotics and Counter Terrorism operations. Erik is a subject matter expert in sniper operations, communications, combat fitness, unconventional warfare and small arms.
Jimmy is an 8 year veteran of the US Army’s 5th Special Forces Group and served in Iraq, Yemen and other parts of the middle east in support of the Global War on Terror. Jimmy has subject matter expertise in small arms, low visibility operations, interrogation, and communications.
Avi is a 9 year veteran of a specialized Israeli Counterterrorism Unit where he was deployed to Iraq during the First Gulf War and took part in several covert operations against perpetrators of terrorism in Israel and the Middle East. He is a subject matter expert in unconventional warfare.
David is a former Army Special Forces soldier (Green Beret) who served with distinction in Afghanistan. David is a small-arms subject matter expert, jumpmaster, freefall instructor and pilot.
Grant is a former operator with SEAL Team 5 and served with distinction in the Global War on Terror. Grant is a subject matter expert on Vehicle Boarding Search and Seizure and Dignitary Protection.
Greg is a former operator with the U.S. Army’s 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta where he served as an assaulter and breacher. Prior to his assignment with that unit Greg served in the U.S. Army’s 10th Special Forces Group.
Drew is a former Army Special Forces soldier (Green Beret) and is a small-arms subject matter expert.
Chuck has over twenty years of special operations and counter terrorism experience the majority of which was spent in 1st SFOD-Delta as an assaulter and sniper. Chuck has extensive subject matter expertise in high and low visibility protective operations, CQB, surveillance/counter surveillance and sniper operations.
RT is a US Navy Veteran and former Operator with SEAL Team 2. After leaving the Navy he became a SWAT officer in a major metropolitan area.
Howard is a 13 year veteran of a Federal Protective Program for field Intelligence Officers with several deployments to various middle eastern countries. Prior to his career with the United States Intelligence Community, Howard played for several years in the National Football League.
Joe spent 7 years in the United States Navy as a SEAL Operator with SEAL Team 4 and 8. He is a qualified NSW Sniper and has subject matter expertise in surveillance and intelligence gathering. Joe has multiple deployments to the Middle East and South America in support of the Global War on Terror and counter narcoterrorism operations.
Adam was an operator with a US Federal Agency tasked with protecting human intelligence assets in high threat environments. Adam was deployed to numerous Middle Eastern and African countries. Prior to his service with that group Adam served as a US Marine. Adam has numerous subject matter expertise areas including technical explosives and HME, low visibility operations, and foreign dignitary protection operations.
Nate is a 17 year veteran of a major metropolitan Police Department with 14 years of his career spent in special operations and clandestine services. He is SWAT qualified and certified as a post blast and explosive technician.
Ed is a 13-year veteran of multiple organizations, from Marine Corps Special Operations Battalions, U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service and other units within the U.S. Intelligence Community. Having held multiple instructor ratings, Ed is considered to be a subject matter expert across many disciplines including but not limited to small-arms, Close Quarters Battle, Close Protection (high/low visibility), intelligence gathering and strategic/tactical targeting analysis.
John spent 5 years as a Force Reconnaissance Marine. He is the recipient of a Bronze Star for actions in support of the Global War on Terror. He is team qualified in closed circuit diving, freefall parachuting, sniper operations. Jon has subject matter expertise in small arms, direct action, Close Quarters Battle, and tactical targeting analysis.
Lawrence has 23 years of special operations experience has served as a Marine Reconnaissance Sniper and Department of State Diplomatic High Threat Security Team Leader. He has deployed countless times to SE Asia, Middle East and Africa to conduct direct action missions and stability operations as well as high and low visibility close protection operations. He has subject matter expertise in direct action, small arms, long range shooting, and Close Protection (high/low visibility).
Matt is 26 year veteran of the U.S. Army. His career included 8 years of service at 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta (Delta Force) with prior service at 7th Special Forces Group and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Matt is one of the world’s foremost subject matter experts in Covert Methods of Entry (CMOE). Matt has additional subject matter expertise in Combat Diving, Room Combat and MOUT operations. Matt was deployed into Afghanistan and various U.S. Embassies and other low intensity conflict areas in support of U.S. interests and the Global War on Terror.
Jim is a former operator with a US Department of State High Threat Security Team tasked with protecting high level diplomatic personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. Prior to his service with the Department of State, Jim was a full time SWAT officer for a major metropolitan area and served in a U.S. Army Ranger Regiment.
Jack is a former US Intelligence Operative who served a US Federal Agency with distinction in Afghanistan and both Iraq conflicts, as well as numerous counter narcotics operations in Latin America
Zak spent 20 years in the US Navy as a career SEAL at Naval Special Warfare Group 1 and Group 2, with his last 8 years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team 6). He is the recipient of four Bronze Stars, three with V for Valor Devices and is the veteran of 11 separate combat deployments all over the globe. Zak was the primary instructor and curriculum developer for multiple programs inside of the Tier 1 and standard NSW training pipeline and has a breadth of subject matter expertise including Breaching, Mobility Operations, and CQB.
Gary spent 25 years in the United States Army, 23 of which were in Army Special Forces. Before retiring in 2014, Gary served in combat in Desert Storm, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and miscellaneous conflicts of the Global War on Terror. Gary has significant subject matter expertise in Small Unit Tactics, Unconventional Warfare and Sabotage Operations. Gary is the recipient of Multiple Bronze Stars, U.S. Department of State Meritorious Honor Award for actions in Yemen, and the Air Medal for actions in Somalia.
Dan spent 10+ years working with a Federal Agency’s protective team ensuring field operatives and supervisors in high threat areas were safely capable of travel. Dan has subject matter expertise in small arms, high and low visibility protective operations, and mobility operations.
Otto is a former Operator with the 5th Special Forces Group where he was deployed to the Republic of Vietnam. He is also an experienced Sport Shooter. He is a Small-Arms Subject Matter expert and serves as Asymmetric Solutions last resort gun fixer.
John served with a US Government Special Operations Unit in Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa and South America.
John worked with a US Federal Agency in rendition and HVT programs in support of the Global War on Terror. He has completed two Ironman Triathlons and has a multiple areas subject matter expertise including human intelligence gathering, limited signature/infiltration operations, sabotage, explosive breaching, freefall operations, and special operations medicine. He occasionally volunteers as police officer in a small metro area community.
Allison is a former Field Agent with the FBI, police detective, and competitive shooter.
Skeeter was an assaulter and breacher with a State Police SWAT/HRT unit. He has substantial expertise in police waterborne and VBSS operations. Prior to joining the State Police Skeeter played professional baseball.
Dave is a veteran close protection specialist. He has been deployed all over the globe conducting high and low visibility protective operations in non-permissive environments including central and south Asia. Dave is also a high level IPSC shooter and has subject matter expertise in small arms and Close Protection operations.
Lance is an 18 year veteran of a major metropolitan police department with the majority of his service in covert operations units and SWAT Teams. He spent 8 years as a Team Leader and Sniper Team Leader conducting numerous SWAT direct action, interdiction and surveillance operations.
Tim is a 20-year veteran of the 7th Special Forces Group (Green Beret) Tim has been part of operations all over the world in the support of the GWOT. He not only conducted direct action missions but he also contributed to humanitarian needs in some of the world’s most austere environments. As an 18D SF Medical Sergeant, Tim has subject matter expertise in direct action, foreign internal defense, mission planning, and field medicine.
Ryan spent 12 years on a U.S. Department of State High Threat Security Team in some of the most non-permissive regions of the globe including Kabul, Baghdad, and Tel Aviv. He has subject matter expertise in Close Protection (high/low visibility), small arms, mobility operations, and complex mission planning.

Jeff is a 20 year veteran of the US Army and active sport shooter. He has a significant subject matter expertise in small arms and is a competitive 3 gun shooter.
Steve served in Law Enforcement in a major metropolitan area for 31 years, many of those in Special Operations. He is also a highly qualified mixed gas and rebreather diver and Law Enforcement instructor.
Jay is a former Army Ranger, Army Helicopter Pilot, and Intelligence Operative. Jay was deployed as an officer with the 1st Ranger Battalion during of Operation Desert Storm and served as an intelligence officer for a federal agency in Afghanistan.
Randall is a POST Certified Law Enforcement Instructor in multiple disciplines as well as a NRA CCW instructor. Randall is also a licensed attorney and sitting State Judge.
Phil is a police officer in a high risk environment and is a distinguished practical sport shooter.
Our medical staff maintains our medical facilities and FDA and DEA licensure, develop our internal medical response procedures and along with our former 18-D SOF Medics produce and instruct our medical training curriculum.
Dr. Jeff K.
Jeff serves as Asymmetric Solutions’s Medical Director. A former Navy Physician, Cardiac Anesthesiologist, and Emergency Medicine Specialist. He has served inside various Naval Special Warfare Commands and is a Dive Medicine expert. A graduate of a Harvard Medical School program and multiple arduous field and exigent circumstance medicine courses Jeff uniquely situated to develop and oversee Asymmetric Solutions’ facilities medical response and special operations medical education programs.

Chris is a former USAF Physician and accomplished outdoorsman and parachutist.
Dr. Guy V.
Colonel V. is a USAF Physician with substantial expertise in survival and austere environments. Prior to becoming an Air Force Officer, Guy was an enlisted Navy Combat Rescue Swimmer.
Dr. Tim K.
Dr. Tim is an Emergency Medicine Specialist and Cardiologist. Tim has substantial training in dive and high altitude physiology and is an accomplished pilot.

The Strategic Management Staff ensures the business end of the company runs with the same surgical precision and flawless execution as our end use services and that the company maintains a flexible, continually evolving culture. They possess the same quality and depth of experience in the business and management universe as we expect of our operational staff.
Lamar serves as Asymmetric Solutions’ Chief Operating Officer and is responsible managing the day to day business of the company. Prior to coming on with Asymmetric Solutions, Lamar retired as a senior executive at Fortune 500 Technology Giant, Emerson Electric where he was responsible for an emerging markets division. Lamar is also an accomplished martial artist and shooter. In addition to his business and management acumen, he regularly works with our senior operational staff as a small arms and critical decision making instructor.
Chad currently heads the financial strategies of Asymmetric Solutions advising the company on the deployment of resources in current and new markets and management of existing revenue streams. Chad is the founder and principal of a privately owned health and fitness company with over 600 employees,
