This eight-hour course emphasizes accuracy at ultra long ranges.  Training Participants receive instruction and in accurate use of a precision rifle in the 1000 – 2000 meter range.   Topics covered include safe, effective and efficient weapon handling skills,advanced ballistics, ranging and engagement, equipment selection and care, cold bore zero, range finding, and the advanced techniques involved in accurately engaging targets at distances of 1000 – 2000 meters.

This two-day 20 hour course is an intensive immersion in the basics of severe wound management and
emergency medical care
.  The curriculum is designed to equip the student to provide on scene treatment and long term management common issues when under hostile conditions.

By the end of the course, students will understand how to rapidly assess an injured party or themselves and provide instant treatment or management of the problems to prolong life and function.  Topics covered include gunshot wounds, sucking chest wounds, arterial bleeding, and other life threatening but common problems that are faced during a fight.  Additional focus is put on performing these tasks while under immediate threat when professional help is not available.  Students learn how to assemble a functional trauma kit.

COURSE GOALS
By the end of the course attendees who properly apply themselves will have the knowledge and skillset to capably operating within a professional executive protection team.
CERTIFICATION
Successful attendees will receive a Certification in Dignitary Protection (40 Hrs.)
THIS IS NOT A SHOOTING COURSE
A good Executive Protection Officer will spend much more time using his laptop, phone, the word “please” and his brain than his firearms. We are teaching proper, effective, professional tradecraft, not reinforcing Hollywood and armchair commando misconceptions about dignitary protection operations. We expect that attendees should have at minimum intermediate knowledge of modern combat shooting techniques.
